Marcus Wilson-Smith trained in London and ran his own studio in Soho for ten years doing both studio and location advertising. Clients included British Airways, Malaysian Airlines, British Gas, Barclays Bank, Gucci, Wembley Stadium, Dixons, Guinness, Johnny Walker, Sony, Halifax and many other well known brands.
More recently he has specialised in corporate location and travel photography and has spent time living in Asia and Africa. During this period he has worked extensively in the hospitality industry and photographed hotels such as Oberoi, Four Seasons, Evason, Banyan Tree and Aman Resorts. He has also taken photos for the Mauritius Tourist Board, Conde Nast Traveler, Harpers & Queen and Homes & Gardens.
